Day 114: Man

We're feeling a little better this morning. Nevertheless, we get a lot of medicaton again – a first case of malaria in non-immunized Europeans is probably the most severe.

Paracetamol infusion for Wolle, electrolyte infusions for both of us, anti-malaria injections for both of us.

Overall, Brigitte's course seems a little milder than Wolle's. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed that we get “over the mountain” and don’t get stuck here in a time loop…

We'll stay in the room and sleep through half the day – what you do when you're sick.

And we downloaded “Water Music” by T. C. Boyle as an audio book. It's a good fit, even if we already know it.

Pina lets us get bread so that we can relax as much as possible.

We hadn't mentioned yet that the hospital with its guest area belongs to the Focolari movement, i.e. it is Catholic. We are very grateful for people's willingness to help.
