Day 99: Gola (Sierra Leone) – Robertsport (Liberia)

It's raining. It sounds to us like it's raining. Then we wouldn't be able to leave here today. But: After half an hour it's over. Since it was probably just a very local shower, we set off. There are more puddles and a little more mud than on the way there, but everything is manageable and we arrive back in Zimmi after about three to hours. We continue on a tarred road.

In the afternoon we reach the border with Liberia. Easy.

At around 6:00 p.m. we are in Robertsport and meet Catherine and Ian. The location was expanded by local surfers with the help of an NGO – really great!

A swim in the sea, a shower, dinner together (we only contribute a few vegetables and snacks), two beers and we are tired. However, it is too hot and too loud here on the beach to sleep.
