Day 59: Zebra Bar

Two thirds of the day is spent trying to get e-visas for Guinea. We will never complain about bad internet in Germany again. Not only is the WiFi bad here because employees and guests are on the same access point from breakfast onwards at the latest, but the 4G network is also not really helpful with a strength of 2 bars. Since the visa page itself is poorly programmed, the whole thing becomes a test of patience or an annoyance. Sometimes you can't select anything where you should select something, sometimes a file is loaded and disappears again, sometimes you're thrown out of the application.

Last but not least, it works with Wolle's application including payment, but unfortunately not with Brigitte's. The first attempt does not allow payment, the second attempt ends with an error from the annoyed user.

Finding accommodation in Dakar is also not easy, as we need a parking. It can't be too far out because the authority for the important stamp in the Carnet de Passage is at the harbor.

Kind of a frustrating day. And again over too quickly.

In the evening we have a risotto with beetroot and nuts – delicious and as colorful as Senegal seems to us compared to Mauritania.
