Day 205: Windhoek / Urban Camp

Our first stop today is Cymot. Is there another offer for well-foldable travel bags? No. Do you have the right protective cover for our tire on the roof? No. What kind of 20 liter diesel canisters are available and is a suitable filler neck available? Yes. Is there a suitable container for egg cartons, now that plastic egg containers have been proven not to be shake-proof? Yes. A new jumper cable also ends up in the shopping basket just in case.

Then continue to Pupkewitz Megatech. We realized that we couldn't ship our old Delta 2 home – as it's dangerous goods, it's so expensive that you might as well just buy a new power station. Pupkewitz offers to take care of the matter. We are reactivating a service ticket at Ecoflow because we are still in the warranty period. Based on this, Pupkewitz asks Ecoflow whether they can repair the Delta 2, because spare parts cannot be procured without their consent. Yes, really! We are excited to see whether there will be any feedback on this next week.

Hungry. You can also eat at Super Spar in Maerua Mall (our favorite supermarket) and watch other people fill their shopping carts. Very funny.

And then again to Bushwhackers. Two travel bags, the great maps from Tracks 4 Africa for our upcoming destinations, and a new kick – it's called power shopping.

We already met Bernd at Cymot and Veronica at Bushwhackers – everyone has the same contact points :-)

In the afternoon we noticed how significantly our tires had already lost their tread – we currently have the previously unused spare wheel on the back.
