Day 103: Monrovia

The night was loud and hot. We've been sleeping too badly too often lately.

First attempt at the Ghana embassy: We sort out our documents and the campsite operator prints out a few things for us ($5 :-)). We take a motorbike taxi there, unfortunately it was actually closed today due to another public holiday in Ghana. Good thing we have an appointment for tomorrow morning.

Continue to Western Union or the ATM. We find a wonderful little place with fresh pastries, good cappuccino, good internet and air conditioning and do some online research.

In the afternoon Ian and Wolle are lying under our car. The compressor hose is laid directly on the cooling fins and is burned through in one place. What an unprofessional job! And thanks to Ian for the help!

Wolle then also identifies the fault with our water pump – the switches inside and outside are not installed as toggle switches. We seem to have accidentally flipped the switch on the inside so that the switch on the outside can no longer be turned off.

Two problems solved that didn't have to be there.
