Day 136: PermaTogo – Campment de Kloto

This morning a pig will be slaughtered, but the suckling pig dinner will take place without us because we are moving on.

Philip's farm is an interesting and ambitious project – show others what is possible by doing it yourself. And he knows a lot about plants and the causal chains of agriculture and forestry. One insight: The dust and haze of the harmattan brings important minerals for the otherwise rather "poor" soil. By the way, you will be able to see Philip on RTL at “Bauer sucht Frau” at some point :-)

We drive through the mountains or plateau for another half a day. It's just too beautiful and the slopes are fun.

A little northwest of Kpalmine we will spend the night on the grounds of the Campement de Kloto.

And in the nearby village we're going on a guided tour through the mountains tomorrow, about three hours, there should be butterflies and waterfalls to see. Since Prospère, the guide, is drunk today and we are dependent on the translation of another villager who of course has his own interests, we are very excited to see whether it will work tomorrow.
