Day 27: Camping Au bout du champ

The night was surprisingly cold, but the weather today will be sunny. Finally again.

We wasted the morning until Marc picked us up around 12. We met him in person for the first time eight years ago, also in Morocco. Like us, he was traveling by motorbike (albeit on a different route) and he and Wolle – as mutual friends of Dan and Sarah from Canada (different story) – had already been in contact and exchanged experiences via Facebook.

Now he lives temporarily around the corner (he can actually see the campsite from his apartment) and, among other things, runs the Touratech Morocco branch (non-motorcyclists do not need to know Touratech, THE off-road outfitter and organizer).

How quickly three hours go by, it's always fun to exchange memories like that. Afterwards we part ways again, Marc goes to Marakesh to accompany a group of motorcyclists from Thursday.

We get another baguette for dinner (very tasty from a little shop up the street) and take a walk on the beach – the surf here is just great.

Today we are more offline for the first time – the credit from Telecom Maroc has already been used up (of course the guy in Tanger Med (Port of Tangier) screwed us, but somehow there is little chance of getting around that) and the WiFi here is extremely slow. Let's see when we get pictures from yesterday and today loaded.
