Day 08: Carmargue
We're starting our second week of vacation!
Take care in the morning. The first thing we'll do is install the software update for the long-distance travel solution. Luckily the installation works and everything seems to be working at first. Now it's time to keep fingers crossed.
A drive through the Camargue Natural Park reconciles us with the not so great campsite. Poplar avenues alternate with wide views of a kind of heath or bush landscape. It goes over dusty slopes through sandy areas and along saltwater lakes. Some flamingos eat their way through the shallow water, as do all sorts of other birds. What we don't see are the salt pans, we somehow missed the turnoff there. And the wild, white horses have also discreetly left. Still, what a lovely trip!
