Day 15: Camping Finca Familia (nearby Elche) – Camping Fuente de La Pascuala

Our third week of travel begins!

Somehow time flies. We're already very experienced in some daily routines, but we haven't found the completely relaxed mode yet. But maybe that's normal, given all the new things that are coming our way at the moment.

Lying in bed watching the sunrise is one of the truly beautiful moments!

We manage to be on the slopes at 10:00 a.m. today (that's another experience: we sleep a lot and are slow in the morning) and drive towards Murcia and then inland to the Sierra de Segura.

Huge olive plantations everywhere but also groves of pomegranates. It's beautiful here and really mountainous. We meander along a narrow and beautiful road next to a reservoir (very low water level) and look for a place to spend the night. When we arrive at the campsite we are the only “extranjero”.
