Day 197: Ongwediva – Namutomi (Etosha)

In Ongwediva we buy a new power station. Even if our experiences with the Ecoflow Delta 2 are not good, it is still considered one of the best and we have the space and cabling geared towards it. We can still get our old one stowed away – maybe we can ship it from Windhoek to Germany, because it's actually still under warranty. For the new one we have to put 870 euros on the table :-(((

Being in Namibia almost feels like coming home. A lot of things are already familiar to us from two trips and we have clearly arrived in a different culture and economic level.

We're a little sentimental and excited at the same time. This journey ends here in Namibia, although we want to continue traveling in southern African countries. But somehow we are also a bit proud. And we are looking forward to the next few days, which will be pure vacation: We are going to Etosha again. Just looking at animals was definitely a bit neglected during the recent months. And so today we go via the northern gate to Namutomi. Zebras, gazelles, giraffes, wildebeests, kudus, a few elephants, two lionesses lounging in the shade, wonderfully colorful birds.
