Day 203: Tsumeb – Windhoek (Urban Camp)

We arrived in Windhoek, the last destination of this trip for now. 

Namibia is our number 17th country in Africa and it took us 203 days to travel here. Some are faster, some are slower, for us it was the right decision to do it in one go, even if it was quite strenuous at times. 

We will stay in Windhoek for a few days, repair or optimize a few things in the cabin, prepare the car for storage and go shopping at the off-road outfitters. 

The Urban Camp is well suited for this, we got a nice place, a little away from the hustle and bustle. And here we meet Doro and Marc, who drove here ten years ago – we share the goosebumps moment of having “made it”.

We will continue to keep our diary, but will no longer post daily. We were always happy to receive feedback, especially when we noticed that one or the other was “stalking” in the background.
