Day 181: Kakuakos Lodge

It's just fun to be here because it feels like a relaxing vacation. And that's what was often difficult to find in the last few weeks.

Breakfast: fruit every day, fresh juice every day, one or two little things like quiche, pizza, crepes, nata or something similar every day. Omlette, rolls.

We have to do some work again: inquiries about car storage are answered and have to be questioned in detail. We need the 30,000 km service for Becky in Namibia and book it for Tsumeb. Tsumeb is on the way and we know a really good campsite there. We can also see if there is still time for a trip to Etosha Park. We find an option to buy a new power station in Windhoek at an acceptable price. Maybe in Windhoek we can also manage to ship the old one to Germany in order to claim the guarantee. What we haven't looked into in detail yet is the second battery, which we might want to have installed. Our heads are already spinning and we also want to go into the pool.

In the evening, like every day, there will be a thunderstorm, today it will be particularly severe. In Luanda, the electricity is turned off during thunderstorms to prevent broken wires are causing fatal electric shocks in the puddles in the slums.
