Day 30: Taranga Safari Lodge (nearby Rundu)

One year ago today, we flew back to Hamburg after traveling along the West Coast of Africa. Another time paradox – it feels like yesterday, yet it feels like ages ago, because so much has happened since then.

It rained heavily last night, and everything is soaking wet.

We're staying here for a second day, doing a little exercise (far too rarely!), uploading pictures, writing in our diaries, reading, enjoying the hippo calls – something between a hum, a grunt, and a roar –, booking a place for the next two nights, and enjoying a delicious dinner in the evening.
