Day 40: Rundu – River Dance Lodge (nahe Divundu)

We treat ourselves to an expensive splurge, and our problem is solved: We also equip both rear wheels with the new generation tires. We keep a nearly new KO2 as a spare tire and the best of the other used ones. In case of a puncture, the tire mix will somehow manage for a short distance.

The transition to 4x4 now works smoothly again.

We don't really feel like doing anything else, so we drive from Rundu directly to the River Dance Lodge near Divundu. We've already spent two nights in this little paradise, and it will do us good today.

We enjoy the peace, the view, the atmosphere, cook a relaxed meal, and gaze at the stars and the campfire.
