Day 173: Dolphin Holiday Resort

With the sound of the surf in our ears, we slept well.

We occupy the washing machines and dryers.

Then we visit a panel beater & painter for a quote on dent removal and painting the door and rear panel. The company (Prestige Auto Ballito) seems well-positioned, and we agree: They'd try to do it in three days instead of five, offer us a good price, and we will have to be at the gate by 7:00 a.m. on Monday. We probably wouldn't have been able to do that in Cape Town, based on what we'd heard about lead times.

Now we have to get Becky washed and, oh no, unfortunately, she doesn't start afterwards. So we hop on the highway and drive a few kilometers so we could calmly consider what to do.

In the meantime, we looked for a hotel for the time while Becky is in the garage.

So the day passes quickly, and in the evening we only manage to get to the Butcher Boy's across the street. And I have to say: If you like meat, a 200g Angus fillet steak with mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed vegetables for 12 euros is a real treat. Well done, yet not at all dry.
