Day 162: KNP: Balule Satellite Camp (Olifants) – Maroela Satellite Camp (Orpen)

Another day of wildlife viewing. We travel more or less along the Timbavati River from Balule to Maroela.

The highlights:

• An armada of elephants heading from all directions across the savannah toward the riverbed.
• A huge herd of buffalo, also heading for the riverbed.
• And a curiosity in Maroela – the hyenas circling the camp.
