Day 18: Farm Landsberg (Tiras Mountains)

The night wasn't as quiet as expected, because the wind was whistling quite hard. We've noticed this often in the mountains, how the enormous temperature differences lead to strong winds.

Still: What a fantastic place. We make little bets about how long we can stay without doing anything :-)

We stroll to the main house, where we can at least use the WiFi for WhatsApp, gather firewood, and buy jojoba oil.

We wonder what life is like on such a remote farm. And we learn that children are either taught online or sent to one of the cities, which means they're only home 3-4 times a year. That they go shopping every 1.5 to 2 months and make correspondingly long lists. That they make two longer trips in the winter, which then include all their doctor's appointments, etc. And that many things are simply not available.

We read, have lunch, and drink coffee.

We take a walk around the farm or rather the plateau.

We stroll back to the Wi-Fi spot and see if CarTech or PG Glass responds. Everything seems to be flowing smoothly and will hopefully move forward after Easter.
