Day 183: Suntsani Campsite / Queenstown – Mountain Zebra National Park

It's drizzling and showering and cold. Phew. Not ideal weather...

So we drive straight on to Mountain Zebra National Park, with a short lunch break in Cradock (Nxuba). Good decision. The weather is cold here too, but at least today it's dry and somewhat sunny. Such beautiful scenery, and such a shame that everything was lost in the rain yesterday. Incidentally, it was supposed to have snowed yesterday at the Sani Pass in Lesotho...

The campsite has 20 units, and we still manage to get a spot even without booking. The sanitary facilities and kitchen are the most modern we've ever seen at San Parks :-)

Another plus is a 2.5 km hike that's within the fenced area and can therefore be done without a guide. Just like that! Wonderful!

And since we've made a big jump west, it stays light for over half an hour longer in the evening!
