Day 117: Foresight Eco Lodge and Campsite (Ngorongoro)

The night was cold, the weather was gloomy, and visibility was nonexistent. Even if we get a response from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority that we can only drive along the ridge (the crater descent costs an extra USD 295) and our car might cost less than USD 150, we probably won't stay here another day. Without visibility and good weather, it's not worth it.

Unfortunately, Wolle has to deal with technical issues today. The provider (Strato) made a change that means our server is no longer accessible. So no public travel diary, no emails, no photo uploads. Whether this can be fixed remotely, or even at all, is unclear. It's annoying and stressful.
