Day 190: Karoo National Park

Last night, we were musing about how you can no longer hear any animals at night in these parks here in the south, and how we'll miss that very much. And then, around 5:00 a.m., the lion roars! Cool!

We head out again early to the pass. Great light, but there's nothing special to see. Except for rhino droppings. We never would have guessed there were actually some here.

After breakfast, we set off again and drive for a few hours through the Little Karoo – well aware that this will probably be the last game drive of our trip. It's a little sad. And then, just before the end of the drive, we see two more magical rhinos. Sigh! How beautiful.
