Day 157: Moreson camp and RV

We'll stay here today. The site is pleasant, the nearby road is hardly used at night, and the frogs suddenly fall silent at bedtime.

We can write our diaries, upload pictures, and have a washing machine.

And the best part: Our host takes our tire into town to a trusted repair shop and brings it back to us in the evening, patched.

The atmosphere here is nice. In addition to the campsites, there are small bungalows and a tiny shop. Just under 50 people live here, and many campers have been coming regularly for more than 20 years. Everyone knows each other.

And we enjoy the wildlife: lots of birds, nyalas and duikers, a zebra-donkey duo.

In the afternoon, we'll have a pool and our first Magnum ice cream in months.

In the evening, bats hang in the tree above us, and the goblin-like bush babies dart from tree to tree in crazy leaps.
