Day 75: Airport en route Travel Lodge and Campsite
Conveniently, there is a workshop next door and we get the leaf springs greased – maybe then our car won't squeak quite so much and we won't chase away all the animals in the Kruger National Park.
After that, we go to the Benoni Gas Stop – but nothing.
On to "Wildebees". A shop with lots of weapons, camouflage clothing and tents, but also boots. And Brigitte buys a pair of the "slip-in boots" that are very popular here.
The next stop is Cristyle Gas, but there is no suitable adapter here either. So let's hope that the recommended and ordered adapter that Leo will bring tomorrow will help. Otherwise we'll need a new bottle.
And finally, a big grocery shop at Pick'n'Pay in the Oakwood Mall. When we stow and reorganize the load for the next three weeks, we reach the limits of our car's capacity.
We buy vouchers so that we can reload our SIM cards during our stay in the national park and use the opportunity to set up a third SIM.
A fire ends the day and we chat with Bud for a long time.
