Day 54: Bloemfontein

The night was restless. Wind, loud people, street noise. We are a little tired.

7:30 check in at Toyota for service – makes a good impression here. It's high time for an oil change and a little care will be good for our car.

We take a shared taxi from Toyota into town, to the laundry and then: breakfast with delicious chocolate croissants!

And now it's time to kill time :-))

We buy a new sleeping T-shirt for Wolle and something colorful for Brigitte.

Why do all our travel T-shirts get small holes so quickly? Apart from the fact that some of them don't get clean anymore... Not even today, because the laundry only washes with cold water. But 5 kilos – it's worth it and at least it smells better afterwards :-))

Freddy, the driver for Toyota, picks us up from the mall, really nice. And when we check out, we find out that Becky was the little sensation of the workshop day.

Then the next good deed: we actually fill up with diesel with 10 ppm, which is a very low sulphur content. Our car hasn't had that since Europe.

In the afternoon, it pouring rain starts, so we decide to have a ready meal for dinner: good idea. The fresh sushi from the deli in the supermarket are unexpectedly delicious.

And we are happy that you can actually sit in the cabin when it's bad weather outside.
