Day 13: Swamp Stop Campsite – Maun

We now head back a good part of the way to get to Maun. Was it worth the 600 kilometers to the Tsodilo Hills and back? In a way, yes, when we consider the days and the encounters. The paintings alone are interesting, but if you have already seen rock paintings, you don't necessarily have to look at them.

The Crocodile Safari Camp in Maun is too expensive for us at 600 Pula per night, so we follow Marie and Patrique's recommendation and camp at the Sedia Riverside Hotel campsite (230 Pula per night). Good enough and with a nice restaurant and really nice staff.

We book a helicopter flight over the delta for Thursday through reception. It will be exciting. And it's not cheap ($380 pp).
