Day 98: Johannesburg – Nyalazi Campsite

It takes some time getting used to sleeping in the car with Leo rather than Brigitte, but the first night goes quite well.

Brigitte is back in Hamburg today and unfortunately misses this part of the trip.

Today Leo and I are heading towards the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. We are driving 592 km today. A long stretch of it is on a pretty patched-up road.

We have lunch at Mamma Mia in Piet Relief. In the afternoon, while filling up, we have a Magnum ice cream for the onward journey.

The Nyalazi Campsite near the park is beautifully located and the ablutions are well maintained.

We will spend three nights here.
