Day 99: Hluhuwe-Impholozi-Park

We get up around 6 a.m. and are on our way to the northern part of the park at around 8 a.m.

Today we see countless nyalas, a few elephants and 14 rhinos, the latter mostly from a distance.

For lunch we go to the restaurant at Hilltop Camp, the only restaurant in the park.

On the way out of the park we see two lions on the road, one with a GPS collar. A guide without any customers in the car gradually arrives and takes photos and tells us that the two are brothers and have not been seen for weeks and that we are really lucky. We enjoy the sighting for quite some time until several other cars arrive.

After the sightings started a bit slowly in the morning, we are satisfied by the evening.
