Day 77: Rockview Lodge – Berg-en-Dal-Campsite (Krueger NP)

The rain stopped sometime in the morning and it was surprisingly sunny. Wonderful, what a luck. And apart from the shrill calls of the peacocks, we slept quite well.

Last purchases in Mbombela (Nelspruit), a small lunch at Mugg & Bean, filling up with petrol and then off to the Kruger National Park (KNP).

Berg-en-Dal is our first stop for two nights. We check in, look for a campsite, take a lunch break and Leo puts up his tent.

In the afternoon we hit the road again, spotting animals: giraffes, impalas, buffalo, elephants. In the distance a few warthogs and two lions.

On the way back from the restaurant (unfortunately almost half of the menu is not available) we come across a scorpion, a frog and a lizard.
