Day 76: Airport en route Travel Lodge and Campsite – Rockview Lodge

Interestingly, the time difference is not entirely clear. According to the flight plan, Leo's arrival is at 9:55 CET, 10:55 local time. But when we check the arrivals at OR Tambo Airport, the plane is already marked as "estimated" at 9:51. So off we go!

It's a perfect landing: Leo has just arrived in the arrivals area with his luggage. What a joy.

Luggage stowed away and off to "Cristyle Gas" – the adapter Leo did bring with him fits, even if it doesn't look like it at first (British POL adapter from Wynen). We get our German gas bottle refilled again!

Our destination today is Rockview Lodge and Camping just outside Mbombela (Nelspruit). The weather is terrible, it's drizzling, raining, pouring. Visibility is poor, temperatures are at times as low as 14 degrees. The actually nice landscape is drowning in grey – we haven't had such bad weather our whole trip.

Since the campsite is only booked for 4 places (or they just don't want to send us onto wet ground) and it's still raining non-stop, we take two safari tents.

We're sitting in the dry, can cook something to eat and have a good solution for the night given today's circumstances.
