Day 22: Homer - Anchorage

Today I had a long day of riding.

I left early from my wonderful camp spot, had breakfast in Homer and then rode back to Anchorage, where I want to change tires and oil tomorrow.

I take a few detours, sometimes to the beach, to Kenai and Seward - a great ride and a beautiful bay - and then a trip to the Exit Glacier with a one-hour walk. Here you could spend much more time. Because I spent a lot of time with these detours, I unfortunately have to ride back to Anchorage in pouring rain for two and a half hours.

In the evening I'm back at the Harley-Davidson campground. There are a lot more people now, including two other Germans, who immediately judge me as "Wessi".

Now I'm curious, how it will work out with the service tomorrow.
