Day 50: Camping Houstrup

Camping Houstrup is nice, the area is beautiful, so we're staying another night, even though the weather isn't very inviting.

A trip to Henne Strand – it's all too crowded and touristy. We read that the town has just under 200 inhabitants. Right now, there are more than five times that number of cars parked here.

A detour to Bœrsmose Strand. Driving on the beach has its charm, and of course, some people get stuck immediately. We help a Belgian couple with their campervan out of a jam twice. But unfortunately, the winch cable apparently didn't wind up properly during the last rescue operation in Iceland. How annoying. It was probably due to the angle of pull being too steep. Phew, we've got our work cut out for us…

Finally, we walk a few meters along the shore of Filsø. The scenery isn't as exciting as we'd expected. The real highlight of the area is more likely the dunes and forests.
