Day 14: Ásbyrgi

The weather forecast is right: cloudy to sunny. A wonderfully leisurely breakfast today!

We’re going for a hike. We head up onto the plateau, covering a loop of about 13 km in total. It feels great!

We’re staying put for now. This place is truly fantastic – from the chorus of birdsong to the handy drying cabinets for our clothes; from the view of the monumental rock face to the sheltered cooking area. And by the way: for the first time in days, no long johns! :-)

We’re happy.
