Day 35: Þingeyri

Andrea, Martin, and Svea – whose van got stuck yesterday – invited us to Simbahöllin for coffee and Belgian waffles. Delicious!

We spent the morning taking it easy, then used the rest of the day to tackle various to-do items.

We washed the vehicle and the laundry, did some cleaning, and handled some greasing and mechanical work. Among other things, Wolle checked the screws for the underride protection and the cabin mounting bolts. Brigitte, meanwhile, secured the many small screws designed to keep the tent fabric more firmly in the awning rail.

After that, there was only enough energy left for cooking and an evening stroll.
