Day 01: Hamburg – noordwind camping galskint (Denmark)
There was quite a bit to prepare again before setting off on our next adventure.
Becky got a heater installed. We didn't really get a chance to test it since it was already too warm in Hamburg, but hopefully, everything works fine.
We ditched the EcoFlow power station in favor of a secondary battery; the new one charges faster and – thanks to a charging booster – plays much nicer with the starter battery.
So, there’s a lot of new tech gear we need to get the hang of.
Back in November – back from Africa – we thought seven months would be plenty of time to ship the vehicle to Germany and handle the modifications and minor tweaks... Yet here we are, and things are getting tight again.
But now we’re packed, the house and garden should be fine for three months, and we’re off. Today’s leg is a leisurely drive to Middelfart, near Kolding.
There’s just enough time for an evening walk through the wildlife park and back along the coastal cliffs – plus a burger and fries halfway through.
