Friday 2019/12/13 and Saturday 2019/12/14

Hamburg – Frankfurt – Windhoek

The online check-in doesn't work. According to the hotline, the problem is the transfer flight from Hamburg to Frankfurt. Since we can't find out whether this flight is safe, we do not sleep very well. On Saturday at 9 a.m. we can finally check-in online and are on the safe side.

At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, our plane takes off to Frankfurt on time.

The way between the gates in Frankfurt is long and we are walking fast between the gates. You have to go through the security check again, which takes some time, but we arrive at the gate early enough. Our friends Astrid and Leo wait for us there. They are coming from Spain/Portugal and are well recovered.

The flight leaves for Windhoek at 8:00 p.m. The plane offers good legroom, but the food is bad, really bad (Eurowings). The seating arrangement in 2/4/2 is very pleasant for us, Astrid and Leo are sitting directly in front of us. We bought neck pillows beforehand, which was a good idea. We still sleep badly. A night flight to Namibia is a pain.
