Hamburg – Frankfurt – Windhoek

After we spent yesterday with packing (see inventory in the photos) and the day before yesterday planning a route, we start towards the airport at noon, a bit exhausted from the last few weeks but well prepared.

It's emptier at the airport than expected at check-in and our flight ended up being an hour later, giving us plenty of time to grab some lunch.

There are also a few hours to wait for our flight in Frankfurt, but since our actual connecting flight was canceled and given the delays and distance, we are very happy that we decided to take the earlier connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, the flight to Windhoek also starts with a delay of a good half hour. Well, the main thing is that we arrive and our baggage too. To be honest, we do not trust the luggage stickers out of the self service machines in Hamburg.
