Elephant Song/Sesfontein – Marble Campsite

In the morning, after an open-air shower and breakfast, we first drive through deeper sand until we arrive in Sesfontein after a while.

We are so lucky: After 14 days without diesel, the gas station was supplied an hour ago!

The small shops here and later along the route don't offer much. We don't need 10-kilo sacks of sugar, cornmeal or rice, nor what feels like a hundred cans of tuna. But somewhere we luckily get a six-pack of Schweppes Bitter Lemon.

We drive north via Puros to the Marble Campsite. Another day with just 200 km. Vast landscapes all around.

The small campsite for the night is run by Himba (320NT$). We chat a little with a nice couple from Botswana (Anton and Lucinda). Setting up, showering, making food. Meanwhile, the Belgians are also arriving. You always meet the same people in Namibia.
