Cordoba: Mezquita and Palacio de Viana - Cordoba - Granada

In the morning I visit the main attraction of Cordoba, the Mezquita Catedral. I have a vague memory from a vacation with my parents in 1975.

Just like 40 years ago, I am very excited about this building and let it act on me for a long time and take many, many photos.

With Nico and Clara, I have decided that I leave about 2pm when the two will come back from work. So I still have time to stroll through the streets of Cordoba and so I visit the Palacio de Viana and it's wonderful patio gardens, which I really like.

In the afternoon, I ride on to Granada, where I also rented a room via AirBnB for two nights from Ursel, a German who settled here. The property is located in Albaicín, the oldest district of Granada. A very nice room and a huge terrace. The bathroom I have to share with a French woman, but I only meet her once. Again I got a great accommodation. The bike I can leave in front of the boundary wall of the property on a small square. Everything is in walking distance from here.

It can not really clarify in the evening, if and how I get an entrance ticket to the Alhambra. I decide to get up early the next morning and see if I can get an admission ticket at the open ticket sales.

In the evening I want to stock up a few little things to eat, but somehow I don't find shops in the cirty, only restaurants. But finally I succeed in buying a few things.
