Vitoria-Gasteiz - Madrid

Riding on to Madrid. I'm taking the highway again, as I do not want to arrive late in Madrid, where I'm staying with Alejandro, a couchsurfer host from Venezuela. He has replied to my public trip request for Madrid a long time ago and invited me to join him as he is also a motorcyclist.

Alejandro lives a bit outside, but he offers me a great room as accommodation and an underground parking lot for my motorcycle. Excellent! Couldn't be much better for Madrid!

In the evening we go for a meal together. In a shopping mall very close by in a kind of tapas McDonald's. The serious difference to McDonald's is that the tapas are pretty tasty and unbeatable cheap. With Alejandro I am talking excitedly and I learn a lot about the unfortunate situation in Venezuela. Alejandro does not want to return to Venezuela, because the living conditions there are characterized by crime and violence. What Alejandro tells from his own point of view does not sound really tempting.

I still have some work to do today, and I also want to clarify the accommodations for Cordoba and Granada via AirBnB, as I have decided to stay in Madrid for only two nights to have two nights in Granada.
