Sinsheim

After a rich breakfast at Werner and Yvonne we're visiting the Auto und Technik Museum Sinsheim, which is known far beyond the borders of the region.

A special highlight for Sara: The tunnel slide from an airplane on the roof of the museum hall. We had the to take the slide twice ;-)

Early in the afternoon we returned to continue the breakfast and soon after we left to Heidelberg, where the evening promised a special highlight: the castle illumination with fireworks. We even got some tickets for an boat on the Neckar. Excellent! There only was some time left for a short ride on the funicular up to the castle to see Heidelberg from above.

Along the way, Sara shoots on a human target goal and scores a hit, without anyone of us even noticed. As a prize she received a small bottle of Jägermeister. Cheers! Sara's a champ!

We almost came into stress, but we're just back in time for boarding the river boat and thus got pretty good seats. There was still plenty of time until the fireworks, so we relaxed during a ride on the river and then with beer and food. Nice atmosphere on the ship.

The castle illumination followed by fireworks is impressive and the view from the boat is really great.

On the way back Werner finally shows us his favorite view from the Königstuhl (a hill named King's seat) onto Heidelberg at night. A awesome day.
