The BMW workshop in the Offakamp in Hamburg has offered a free evening course about the technical issues of motorcycles. A very meaningful event! I have learned a lot that evening and you're getting aware very quickly by the questions of other participants, that you are not the only one who does not know about technical issues. Rating: Highly recommended. I would visit such an event again!

Together we visited a first aid course for motorcyclists. The focus was on the revitalization of first aid knowledge and motorcycle specific knowledge. It was not bad to try again the first aid on an motorcyclist after an accident.

On Sunday, the week before I left, I took part in a one-day Enduro introductory course. On the advice of the organizer, I did this with a rental bike (650). The risk of dropping down my own bike shortly before departure would have been to high.

On this day I got some tip and collected some experiences. This has strengthened my self-confidence a bit. I learned some things of this training for my trip. I can only recommend attending such a course. Better take a rental bike!
