Already at the turn of the year, we got into the concrete travel planning.
Since we are planning separate arrival and departure as in our trip to Greece last year, we first had to check how this can be done at all.
At first there was the idea that Brigitte takes a flight back and forth to Marrakech and from there we make a round trip together. However, that would have had the disadvantage that I had ride to Marrakech first, which is already quite far south.
Other destinations in Morocco for a round trip at reasonable rates with good connections (without multiple transfers or overnight stays) could not be found either. Finally, I had the idea that we could also meet in southern Spain. There were several flights (for example to Seville and Malaga). How could this be compatible with a travel route through Morocco? Research on the Internet led me to the conclusion that a route from Tangier via Fez to the south (Erg Chebbi) and then into the direction of Marrakech (from where Brigitte takes a flight back) should be feasible in the time available.
After the key data and Brigitte's vacation have been clarified, Brigitte determines to make reservation for the flights, especially as they are quite cheap. However, we never been booked these airlines (Norwegian and Germania). Let's hope that the flights actually take place as announced. For Brigitte we booked a direct flight to Malaga (Norwegian Air, 86 Euro), from where I pick her up. Destination of our joint ride will be Marrakech, from where Brigitte then returns by plane directly to Hamburg (Germania, 173.75 euros).
