On Saturday I wake up early and take down my tent. I want to do some distance today. I ordered breakfast the night before and so I get a full belly for the ride.

So at 9 o'clock I'm on the road again. Of course, the day already starts with a detour. Traffic jams and detours are the bane of the first two days.

Nearby Munich, the traffic jam is getting so bad that I decide to take the direct route through Munich to the south. It would not be a good decision to take the highway to Salzburg on a day like this. Of course, it's not fast in Munich either, but maybe the road to the south is a little more pleasant, I think. I want take the Brenner pass. Traffic jams, construction sites, detours. Nevertheless, I make it to Bressanone / Brixen, where I find a campsite with the help of the ADAC Camping Guide, which is connected to a hotel (Hotel Löwenhof). It's starting to become routine. Setting up a tent, showering, having dinner.

Before dinner I have an Aperol Spritz in the bar of the hotel. Nobody to communicate with tonight, either in the bar or while eating. So I'm back in the tent soon and sleep well that night.
