Pritzerbe – Hamburg
Brigitte had warned us a few days ago that rain was supposed to move through northern Germany today.
When we wake up at 8:30 a.m., well rested, we still have an hour to escape the approaching rain. So we set off without breakfast and get to Havelberg without rain, where we get coffee and something for breakfast at a bakery. We make the plan to take the quickest route back to Hamburg, since we can hardly avoid the rain.
In the rather pretty Perleberg we do a little sightseeing on the motorbikes to delay to enter into the rainy area a bit. Soon after, however, we just can't avoid the rain anymore. We take the fastest route back to Hamburg, also on the Autobahn. Leo doesn't have waterproof boots yet, which is a real handicap in this weather.
We arrive at 1:30 p.m. The long-awaited rain has finally arrived in Hamburg and we had a great short tour.
