Today's hike down to and along the Rhine Gorge was not difficult technically, but at least quite long and we had to overcome quite a few meters in altitude.

We were quite exhausted when arriving at Lake Cauma n the evening, where we immediately took a refreshing bath in the 19 degree turquoise-green water. So we were strengthened to walk the rest of the way back to our accommodation. But this day has also claimed its victims: a blister on Wolle's heel and tomorrow probably we'll have quite sore muscles.
