Today a visit to the doctor for getting travel medicaments and vaccination. The pharmacy can't get the anti-rabies vaccine. My doctor mentions to me, that I can get this vaccination at Globetrotter (company for outdoor equipment) most probably.

In the afternoon, the travel doctor's office at Globetrotter has office hours. They have the vaccine against rabies on stock and can take the vaccination at any time. The cost per vaccination is EUR 86, of which three vaccinations are necessary at a rate of 0, 7, 21 days. A lot of money! Immunization is approximately three years in duration and may be extended to 5 years after a fourth vaccination. The probability is not high to catch rabies, but concerning the dogs, which like to snap for motorcycle boots, you never know if they really bite you. And then you should definitely make an immunization and this is quite impossible in the countries I will travel to. From this point of view, I decide for the vaccination, but will start on Friday, because of our vacation.
