The waypoints above are displayed via a waypoint item of the type "Directory of images with geotags" in the "Waypoints" tab of the GPXViewer content element.
You only need to select any image file from the directory, the output will be displayed automatically. The GPS data from the images is read using "exiftool", which must be installed on the server (in the search path).
It is also possible to select single geo-tagged image files as waypoint items.
If you move the mouse pointer over one of the picture icons, a small preview image will be displayed. Clicking on it will open a larger view.
For the large image view, a possible image description will also displayed. Even mulitlingual support is available. For this purpose, the text for the different language versions in the description field of the image file must be preceded by the language abbreviation (eg DE or EN) followed by a colon (followed by an optional space). Between the language versions, a paragraph with five dashes (-----) must be inserted. Only the text for each language version will be displayed.
