The impetus for our second short trip is a visit to the camping outfitter Obelink in Winterswijk just behind the Dutch border. We spend our first night with friends in Hüll in the Altes Land and look at the stars from our bed at night. Wonderful. A visit to Obelink is like going to IKEA – too much of everything and a lot of things you don't need. But we found some things from our shopping list. From Holland we drive towards Emden and find a campsite at the Knock pumping station. An evening swim and a fantastic sunset turns the whole thing into a real holiday trip.

On the way back there is a crab roll in Greetsiel – picturesque but completely overcrowded.
